From January to August 2018, orders for new vessels and orders for hand-held vessels continued to grow in China, and major indicators such as shipbuilding completion and industrial output value of key monitoring enterprises continued to narrow year-on-year.船用閥門
First, the three major shipbuilding indexes in the country increased by two, and then dropped.
In 1~8 months, the national shipbuilding completed 24 million 300 thousand deadweight tons, down 22.4% compared with the same period last year. The new ship order of 25 million 310 thousand heavy-duty tons, an increase of 59.7% over the same period last year. At the end of August, the order of 88 million 250 thousand deadweight tonnage was held by ship, an increase of 11.4% over the same period last year, an increase of 1.2% over the end of 2017.

From January to August, 22.33 million DWT of export vessels was completed nationwide, down 24.2% from the same period last year; orders for export vessels were 22.53 million DWT, up 55.7% from the same period last year; orders for hand-held export vessels at the end of August were 78.81 million DWT, up 4.6% from the same period last year. Export ships accounted for 91.9%, 89.0% and 89.3% of the total shipbuilding, new orders and hand-held orders respectively.

1, shipbuilding enterprises three indicators two increase or decrease
In 1~8, 53 key shipbuilding enterprises completed 23 million 560 thousand tons of heavy-duty shipbuilding, down 13.8% from the same period last year. The new ship order of 23 million 960 thousand heavy-duty tons, an increase of 62.4% over the same period last year. At the end of August, the order of 84 million 40 thousand deadweight tons was held by ships, up 8.3% over the same period last year.
From January to August, 53 key shipbuilding enterprises completed 21.68 million tonnes of export ships, down 15.6 percent from the same period a year earlier; orders for export ships were 21.47 million tonnes, up 60 percent from the same period a year earlier; orders for hand-held export ships were 75.47 million tonnes at the end of August, up 4.5 percent from the same period a year earlier. Export ships accounted for 92%, 89.6% and 89.8% of the completed, new and hand-held orders of key shipbuilding enterprises respectively.
2, the total industrial output value declined year-on-year.
From January to August, the total industrial output value of 80 key monitoring enterprises in the shipbuilding industry was 242.7 billion yuan, down 6.3% from the same period last year. Among them, the shipbuilding output value was 103.3 billion yuan, down 6.1 percent from the previous year; the matching output value of ships was 17.4 billion yuan, up 3 percent from the previous year; and the repairing output value of ships was 7.8 billion yuan, up 1.3 percent from the previous year.
3, the export value of ships decreased year by year.
In 1~8 months, 80 key monitoring enterprises in the shipbuilding industry completed export output value of 88 billion 900 million yuan, down 9.3% from the same period last year. Among them, the shipbuilding output value was 63.6 billion yuan, down 9.1 percent year-on-year; the ship supporting output value was 3.4 billion yuan, up 3 percent year-on-year; and the ship repairing output value was 4.4 billion yuan, down 2.2 percent year-on-year.
4, the economic efficiency of enterprises decreased year by year.
From January to August, the main business income of 80 key monitoring enterprises in the shipbuilding industry was 168 billion yuan, down 6.6% compared with the same period last year, and the total profit was 1.6 billion yuan, down 27.3% compared with the same period last year.
